My etchings represent tarot cards based on the four elements – Fire, Water, Air and Earth. They symbolize how powerful natural elements are, and the potential they have to create natural disasters. Fire represents illness showing the spread of destruction. Water represents stress and the overwhelming emotions it delivers when everything is destroyed. Air represents chaos and a lack of control in the mind. Lastly Earth represents good Karma and how powerful the balance of the Earth is in creating life and death. The etchings are inspired by the Hinduism circle of life known as ‘Samsara’. However unlike the original Samsara I have included Birth, Life, Death, Decay and Rebirth.
