Familiar faces - throughout a person’s life, there are people who attribute to that person’s sense of identity through the sharing of their lives. Using lithography as a printing technique, I drew portraits of the people who have shared my life: parents, family members and close friends, who are central to my life and being. These portraits provided not only an exploration of my own sense of self but also of the people themselves as individuals, each with different auras and identities. Every portrait aims to portray the person and reflect our shared experiences that exist, familiar, in my memory.
