My art space is an abstract representation intended to say something about the human condition. I have taken elements found in the everyday structure of architecture and nature as a metaphor to convey the relationship between man and life. Change and decay is present but equally we have resolve, a resilience in our foundations to survive and leave something behind. Our human spirit can be empowered by the challenges met, including the artistic ones. I have chosen to work with black and white film photography because it produces images of a timeless quality right for my theme.
