My work predominantly focuses on the representation of water droplets, and how they distort the background they have been viewed upon. I find this unusual warping of still-life to be a particular interest of mine, and one I have continued to explore and experiment with throughout my work. In these works I have examined the lengths to which I can portray this idea, through various mediums, colour schemes and sizes of canvas, and explore the idea of creating a unique environment, depicting a realistic portrayal of raindrops, whilst simultaneously bordering on abstraction.
